Raluca Petean

Raluca Petean has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and product ownership. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at ISDC - A Member of the Endava Group for several months. Raluca then joined UNIQA Raiffeisen Software Service SRL in 2009, where they served as a Software Engineer and later as a Product Manager. During their time at UNIQA, Raluca played a critical role in the company's IT digital transformation, implementing best practices and market standards while leading a team of business analysts/product owners.

In 2015, Raluca moved to UNIQA Insurance Group AG as a Group Leader for Business Analysis and Design. In this role, they formed and led a high-performing team of business analysts/product owners and served as an enterprise product owner for various UNIQA products. Their responsibilities included defining product roadmaps, managing high-level product backlogs, and implementing a cost sharing model across the UNIQA Group.

Most recently, Raluca joined Ohpen in 2020 as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they have been responsible for leading the API team and successfully overseeing the implementation project for a strategic client. Raluca has also played a crucial role in designing and implementing the API strategy in collaboration with business managers, as well as working closely with the DevOps team to track API usage and performance.

Raluca Petean has a diverse education history. Raluca obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, with a specialization in the English line, from Babes Bolyai University. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a specialization in the German line from the same university. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in International Management from Babes-Bolyai University's Faculty of Economics and Business Management.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Raluca Petean has also obtained several certifications. Raluca is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, certified by Amazon Web Services, and a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), certified by the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, they hold the certification of a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. Raluca is also a Professional Scrum Master I certified by Scrum.org and a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering certified by IREB GmbH. Their certification journey began in 2008 with the Sun Certified Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
