Serumi Bakker

Serumi Bakker has extensive work experience in human resources and people management roles. Serumi has worked for various companies in different industries, including Ohpen, BloomReach Global, Tiqets, Groupe PSA, Corning Life Sciences, TomTom, Sennasearch Recruitment, and IBM. At Ohpen, Serumi is currently the Head of People, responsible for implementing modern core-banking capabilities for financial providers. At BloomReach Global, they served as the People Lead EMEA and Senior People & Talent Manager, focusing on improving processes and HR management for sustainable growth. At Tiqets, they were the Head of HR, revolutionizing ticketing platforms. Serumi also held HR Manager roles at Groupe PSA, Corning Life Sciences, TomTom, and Tiqets.com. Additionally, Serumi worked as a Strategic Partner in Recruitment Process Outsourcing at Sennasearch Recruitment. Before that, they worked at IBM as a Project/Program Manager, Senior HR Advisor & Change Consultant, Client Manager, and HR Trainee.

Serumi Bakker completed their education starting in 1991 at Barlaeus Gymnasium, where they obtained a high school degree. Serumi then enrolled at Utrecht University from 1998 to 2000, studying Sociale Geografie but did not receive a degree. From 2000 to 2006, Serumi attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), where they pursued a degree in International Business & Languages (IB&L).

In terms of additional certifications, Serumi Bakker obtained the "NLP Practitioner - Principles and Practices" certification from Achology in April 2022, and completed the "HR as a Business Partner" certification through LinkedIn in March 2022. In April 2019, they obtained certifications in "Creating a Positive and Healthy Work Environment" and "Employee Experience" from LinkedIn.
