Toshi Barnes is an experienced professional in the hospitality and food and beverage industries, currently serving as Resort Sommelier & Manager as well as Food and Beverage Manager at Ojai Valley Inn since March 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of General Manager at The Marq from November 2014 to December 2020, where Toshi managed a multimillion-dollar restaurant with a strong emphasis on upscale hospitality targeted at downtown clientele. Toshi's diverse background encompasses roles such as Assistant General Manager at Pequod’s Pizza, Manager at Cactus Bar & Grill, Inventory Control Specialist at BevIntel, and General Manager at The Franklin Tap, among others. Toshi began a career in management with various positions at Cactus Bar & Grill and also has experience as a Senior Lifeguard and Team Leader. Toshi holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Illinois Chicago.
