Danie Loots

Danie Loots has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Danie began their career at 1 Parachute BN as a Lt from 1985 to 1986. Danie then joined Mondi Group as a Shift Super in 1987, and later transitioned to Synda Chemicals as a Sales Manager from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they joined Sappi Fine Paper South Africa as a Product Manager from 1996 to 2008. Danie then worked as a Technical Sales Manager at Winstone Pulp International Ltd from 2008 to 2015. After that, they joined Nalco, An Ecolab Company as an Account Manager from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Market Manager- Pulp at Oji Fibre Solutions, where they have been working since 2016.

From 1981 to 1983, they studied Pulp & Paper Technology at Technikon Natal Durban.

From 2002 to 2007, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Johannesburg.
