Alison Gibson is an accomplished leader in healthcare and education with extensive experience in community engagement and clinical operations. Currently serving as the Dean of Community Engagement & Careers at Okanagan College, Alison fosters collaboration between the College, its students, graduates, and community partners across multiple campuses. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Alberta Health Services, where Alison managed large-scale transformation initiatives, established provincial teams for Enhanced Recovery After Surgery, and contributed to the launch of Connect Care. Alison's diverse background spans roles as a clinical manager, strategic consultant, and educator, with a focus on improving health services and outcomes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Nursing in Maternal Child Health from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta.

It is an hour's flight from Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle. It is known for its friendly, safe environment, mild climate, spectacular mountain scenery and boasts a reputation as the location of Canada's foremost fruit growing, and wine-making industry.
