Alison Gibson is an accomplished leader in healthcare and education with extensive experience in community engagement and clinical operations. Currently serving as the Dean of Community Engagement & Careers at Okanagan College, Alison fosters collaboration between the College, its students, graduates, and community partners across multiple campuses. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Alberta Health Services, where Alison managed large-scale transformation initiatives, established provincial teams for Enhanced Recovery After Surgery, and contributed to the launch of Connect Care. Alison's diverse background spans roles as a clinical manager, strategic consultant, and educator, with a focus on improving health services and outcomes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Nursing in Maternal Child Health from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta.
Okanagan College
Okanagan College is a public post-secondary institution offering degrees, diplomas and certificates in a range of program areas, including business, trades, university transfer, developmental, and English as a Second Language. Okanagan College is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of south central British Columbia, 350 kilometres east of Vancouver and 120 kilometres north of the U.S.A. border. It is an hour's flight from Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle.
