Ik Nwosu

IK Nwosu is an accomplished media professional currently serving as Managing Editor at OkayAfrica since January 2024. Previously, IK held multiple roles at BellaNaija from March 2016 to January 2024, including Executive Head of Content, Head of Content, and Content Lead, overseeing the content development process for the flagship website and significantly contributing to the growth of the brand's social media presence. As Social Media/Community Manager, IK played a pivotal role in the fivefold increase of BellaNaija’s social media following in three years, drafting the content strategy and managing audience interactions. Additionally, IK has written and published over 400 articles in various series on the platform. IK earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nexford University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Benin, as well as an Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
