Sam Hendel

Sam Hendel is an accomplished entrepreneur and investment professional with significant experience in the technology and finance sectors. As the Founder and Chairman of JKBX since January 2022 and Co-Founder of DataMinr since April 2009, Sam has been instrumental in developing cutting-edge solutions in AI and Machine Learning for various industries. In addition, Sam co-founded Chord Music Partners and has held key leadership roles at Okayplayer and OkayAfrica as Chairman of the Board. Sam's expertise extends to investment management, having served as President and Portfolio Manager at Easterly Investment Partners and as a Portfolio Manager at Satellite Asset Management. An alumnus of Yale University with a BA in Economics, Sam continues to influence the investment landscape as a Senior Advisor at Kepos Capital and as an investor in Kobalt Music.
