Eric Mace

Eric Mace has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Eric is currently the Owner of Mace Media Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in the music industry. Their role involves providing support and services to artists and small businesses, with expertise in artist and label services, as well as merchandising.

Prior to this, Eric served as the Director of Marketing at Valley Entertainment Inc from February 2009 to the present. Eric also worked as the Director of Merchandising at Okayplayer from December 2014 onwards, where they were responsible for managing merchandising operations.

Eric was the Director of Label Operations at Okaymusic from January 2017 to present. Additionally, they worked as the Shop Manager at OkayAfrica from October 2016 onwards.

Previously, Eric owned Black Shirt Music, LLC. from October 2009 to present. In 2016, they worked as an Accountant at Good Child Music from February to October.

Eric's other notable experiences include working as the Regular Trademark/Fela.net Shop Manager at Knitting Factory Entertainment from May to December 2015. Eric also served as an Intern at Panache Booking from September 2008 to January 2009.

Prior to entering the music industry, Eric worked as a Staff Accountant/Plant Administrator Trainee at Knouse Foods from August 2007 to August 2008.

Eric Mace's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Lehigh Carbon Community College. During this time, they focused on studying Accounting and Business/Management, although they did not complete a specific degree. In 2004, Eric moved on to Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting. Eric completed their degree in 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, Eric attended New York University from 2008 to 2010. There, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Music Business.
