Bernd Kuhn

Bernd Kuhn is an experienced academic currently serving as the Interim Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology since September 2010, focusing on faculty hiring and evaluations. Previously, Bernd held various academic positions, including Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Principal Investigator at Princeton University from December 2004 to August 2010. Prior to this, Bernd was a Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, specializing in two-photon voltage imaging both in vitro and in vivo. Bernd holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the Technical University of Munich (1996-2001) and a Diploma in Physics from Ulm University (1990-1996).
