Michelle Johnson

Michelle Johnson has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to revenue management and healthcare administration. Michelle is currently the Director of Revenue Integrity at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Patient Accounting Manager at Saint Francis Health System, where they were responsible for managing accounts receivable and resolving patient and insurance claims. Michelle also worked as the Business Office Manager at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital from 2017 to 2019.

Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Michelle held multiple roles at Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC. Michelle served as the Tax Supervisor from December 2016 to May 2017 and as the Quality Assurance Supervisor from January 2016 to July 2016. In addition, they worked as an Investor Accounting Analyst at Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC from July 2015 to November 2015.

Michelle's career in healthcare began at Ardent Health Services, where they held various management positions from 1998 to 2015. Michelle was the Division Manager of Strategic Outreach and Tribal Relations, Division Manager of Patient Access, and Business Services Manager, overseeing cash posting and credit balance accounts receivables for multiple hospitals. Michelle also worked as a Billing/Claims Clerk and Claims Clerk at Columbia Tulsa Regional Medical Center (OSU Medical Center) from 1994 to 1998.

Michelle Johnson attended Tulsa Technology Center in 1994, where they obtained a degree in Medical Terminology in the field of Healthcare.
