Ainsley Martinez

Ainsley Martinez is an experienced professional in journalism and hospitality with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Freelance/Intern at Oklahoma Watch since June 2023, Ainsley previously worked as a Fine-Dining Server at Red PrimeSteak and as a Server at Sparrow Modern Italian, where assistance with food and wine pairings was provided. Ainsley's editorial skills were demonstrated as Editor in Chief at The Vista, and Ainsley supported Data Reporting students as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Oklahoma. Prior internship experience includes roles at The Oklahoman and Poptized Magazine, where Ainsley contributed as a Staff Writer. Ainsley is pursuing a degree at the University of Central Oklahoma and will attend Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism for professional certifications in Data Journalism and Data Visualization and Analysis in mid-2024.
