Beatriz Marques

Beatriz Marques has four years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Data Engineer at OKRA.ai. Prior to that, they were a Data Developer at Coolblue from 2019 to 2022. From 2018 to 2019, they worked on a Master Thesis Project at IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, where they developed the proof of concept of a technique that evaluates nasal obstruction by measuring the nostril expiratory velocity, executed a multidisciplinary project, and performed experimental work to validate the technique. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Intern at Hospital de Santa Maria, where they observed endoscopic techniques and complementary diagnostic tests.

Beatriz Marques obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2013-2016. Beatriz then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution from 2016-2018. During the same period, they also completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering through the Erasmus+ exchange programme at Politecnico di Torino from 2016-2017.
