Alfonso Carranza

Alfonso Carranza has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alfonso is currently working as an Investment Manager at Elewit since July 2021. In 2022, they took on the roles of Investor & Board Director at OKTO GRID and Board Observer at Zeleros Hyperloop. Prior to that, Alfonso worked as an Investment Manager at Sunbo Angel Partners from June 2020 to July 2021, where they focused on investing in B2B deep-tech and deep-science startups. Alfonso held the position of Manager - Valuations at Rocket Internet SE from February 2019 to May 2020. Alfonso also worked as an Investment Analyst at Alere Capital from September 2018 to February 2019. Alfonso started their career as a Corporate Finance Intern at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from October 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they gained experience as a Consultant at Deloitte from December 2013 to August 2015. Alfonso's early work experience includes an internship in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Desarrollo de Sistemas Avanzados SL from January 2012 to March 2012.

Alfonso Carranza began their education in 2008 at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they pursued a Bilingual Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Alfonso completed this program in 2013. In 2012, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at Universidade Federal de Itajubá, focusing on their mechanical engineering studies. Following their undergraduate education, Alfonso Carranza enrolled at ESCP Business School in 2015 and completed their Master's Degree in Management with a major in Finance in 2017. During the same year, they also pursued a Master's Degree in Finance, General at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
