Sophia Gatzoni

Sophia Gatzoni has a diverse work experience. Sophia started their career as a Quality Control Intern at APIVITA SA in September 2017 and worked there until March 2018. From April 2019 to August 2019, they worked as an Airport Information Services Agent (Temp) at Athens International Airport. Sophia then joined The Kraft Heinz Company as a Global Food Safety and Quality Intern from July 2020 to January 2021. Sophia then transitioned into the role of HR Talent Acquisition Specialist at Teleperformance in December 2021 and worked there until March 2023. Currently, they are working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at OKTO since March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for end-to-end recruitment for various positions, including IT roles, utilizing diverse sourcing methods and conducting interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.

Sophia Gatzoni has a diverse education history. Sophia obtained a bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of West Attica from 2012 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Sophia pursued a master's degree in Food Science, Technology, and Business, specializing in European Master of Food Science, Technology, and Business. Sophia attended KU Leuven from 2019 to 2021 and also participated in an Erasmus program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa from 2020 to 2021 and Hochschule Anhalt in 2020.

Additionally, Sophia has acquired multiple certifications. Sophia completed an IT Recruitment Bootcamp at Skillscouts | Hack your way into Tech Recruitment in January 2023. In August 2022, they earned a certification in Recruiting: Talent Acquisition & Hiring from Udemy, along with a certification in HR - Agile HR Fundamentals. Sophia also completed a course on interviewing for technical/IT roles and obtained certifications as an HR Generalist and HR Recruiter from Reatcode, all in May 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Genomics: Decoding the Universal Language of Life from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in February 2019. Sophia also holds a certification in ECDL Core from PeopleCert, acquired in July 2018. Finally, they have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan.
