Silvina Pagola

Silvina Pagola currently serves as the Chair of the Organics and Pharmaceutical Sub-committee at the International Centre for Diffraction Data since March 2024 while also holding the position of Research Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University since March 2018. Previously, Pagola was an Adjunct Associate Professor at Hampton University from September 2013 to January 2018 and a Research Scientist II at the College of William and Mary from January 2007 to April 2017, focusing on mechanochemical synthesis and crystal structure determination. Early career highlights include roles as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Stony Brook University and a Senior Scientist at the International Centre for Diffraction Data. Pagola has experience as a Research Chemist at Apotex Inc., a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, and has contributed to the determination of crystal structures from various diffraction methods. Pagola earned a Doctorate in Chemical Sciences with a specialization in Solid State Chemistry and a Licentiate in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
