Leah dela Cruz

Leah Dela Cruz has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Leah is currently serving as the Vice President of Commercial Banking at Old Second National Bank since January 2020. Before joining Old Second National Bank, Leah held the position of Vice President of Commercial Relationship Officer at Byline Bank from May 2019 to December 2019.

Prior to their roles in the banking sector, Leah worked at Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest for several years, where they held various positions including Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager-Commercial Lending, Commercial Credit Analyst, Assistant Retail Banking Manager, and Personal Banker. Leah started their career in 2007 as a Personal Banker and worked their way up to higher positions within the bank.

Before their career in banking, Leah worked as a Marketing Consultant at Best Windows Inc. from 2003 to 2006. Leah also gained experience in management consulting and training at Digitel Mobile (Sun Cellular), Unilever, and PhilComSat from 2001 to 2002. Furthermore, Leah served as VP-Marketing at Northern Pacific Link from 1999 to 2000 and at Call Telecom from 1998 to 1999.

In the earlier stages of their career, Leah worked at Samsung Electronics, Philippines as a Corporate Planning Manager from 1996 to 1998. Leah also worked at PLDT as the Head of Customer Care Staff Support, Sales, and Marketing Training from 1993 to 1995. Leah's career began at Philamlife Insurance as a Market Research and Product Officer from 1989 to 1993.

Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Data Analytics at Dominican University, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2016.
