Jim Cardelli is the current Chief Technology Officer at Oleolive. Jim was previously self-employed, and before that they were the Director of INLET, a therapeutic drug development program focused on discovering repurposable drugs for multiple human diseases. Cardelli has helped investigators acquire over 5 million dollars in grant funding for INLET in the 4 years since its inception. INLET's screening center is equipped with state-of-the-art liquid handlers, robotic screening devices, and high content real-time assay platforms. Cardelli is developing partnerships with academic institutions, business experts, and pharmaceutical companies to move drugs from discovery to commercialization.
Jim Cardelli's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jim then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
