Yuriy Gelfman

Yuriy is a Principal at Olive Tree Holdings. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Yuriy brings extensive institutional capital markets experience to Olive Tree’s leadership. Previous to Olive Tree, Yuriy spent three and a half years at Citadel Investment Group, one of the world’s top hedge funds. At Citadel, Yuriy was a tenured investment professional in one of the firm’s equity businesses where he had P&L responsibility for a $300 million portfolio focused on home building, building products and construction materials sectors.

Prior to Citadel, Yuriy spent six years at GLG Partners, managing risk and conducting extensive due diligence. Prior to GLG Partners, Yuriy began his career as an investment banker at Lazard in its M&A group in New York.

Yuriy graduated from Duke University with a BA in Economics.
