Huw van Steenis

Huw van Steenis is a prominent figure in sustainable finance and investment management, serving on the Climate Advisory Board at Norges Bank Investment Management and as Vice Chair and partner at Oliver Wyman since late 2022. An Investment Committee Member at Oxford University Endowment Management, Huw has been co-Chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Responsive Financial Systems since 2020, contributing previously as a member of various councils and initiatives. Huw's extensive experience includes advisory roles at UBS and the Bank of England, where Huw chaired the review that led to the influential van Steenis Report on the Future of Finance. Huw's leadership extended to the English National Opera's Board of Trustees and as a Fellow at the RSA. Huw holds a Master's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.
