Michael Klekas

Michael Klekas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael most recently worked at OliverIQ as a Principal UX Product Designer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were at Xyngular Corporation from 2020 to 2022, where they served as a UX Chapter Lead + Principal UX Engineer. In this role, they managed a UX team, designed and developed a store front generating over $100M in revenue, and created digital tools for salespeople. Michael also presented their work at a conference for top clients.

Before joining Xyngular Corporation, Michael worked at AtlasRTX as a Senior Product Design Engineer from 2020 to 2020. Prior to that, they were at Snap One from 2019 to 2020, where they served as a UX Team Manager + Senior Front-End Engineer. At Snap One, they led the senior UX designers and implemented new processes for the B2B e-commerce web application.

From 2012 to 2020, Michael worked at Control4 in various positions. Michael started as a Senior Front-End Engineer + UX Team Manager, where they led the UX/UI design and front-end engineering effort of an award-winning home automation e-commerce web application. Michael later took on the role of Senior Front-End Engineer + UX, where they developed the UX/UI design system for all web properties and worked on confidential projects with NASDAQ. Michael received several awards for their work at Control4.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Full-Stack Web Developer at the University of Utah Department of Psychology, where they designed and developed the department website and developed a CMS portal for faculty profiles and research data collection. Michael also worked as a Front-End Developer at Zions Bancorporation, where they built the design and functionality of the company's website.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong skills in UX design, front-end engineering, team management, and project leadership.

Michael Klekas obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree with a focus on Information Systems from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah between 2005 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, Michael Klekas has also obtained several certifications. In 2022, they completed the "Business Innovation," "Designing A Business," and "Designing Strategy" certifications from IDEO U.
