Cornelius Darcy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Cornelius most recently served as the Vice President of Enrollment Management at The University of Olivet. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Admissions & Strategic Communications (interim) at Cal Poly Humboldt. Cornelius also holds a Doctoral Degree in which they focused on the mobility industry, technology, communities, and history. Cornelius has held various leadership positions in enrollment management and marketing at Kettering University and was the Director of Enrollment Management at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco. Additionally, they have experience in sales enablement and field communications as the Director at Blue Coat Systems. Cornelius has held positions in marketing at HP Software and Pagoda International. In the early stages of their career, they gained extensive experience in admissions at Washington University in St. Louis and McDaniel College.

Cornelius Darcy obtained a Ph.D. in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Michigan State University between 2017 and 2022. Prior to that, they pursued Executive Education in Strategic Leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2011 to 2016. Furthermore, they completed an MBA in International Business at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 1993 to 1995, and an MA in International Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, Cornelius held an MLA degree in Liberal Arts from McDaniel College attained between 1983 and 1985. Cornelius earned their BA in International Business from Marietta College from 1977 to 1981. Lastly, they obtained a High School Diploma specializing in College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program from St. Paul's School (MD) between 1969 and 1977.
