Sonia Ghilas

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute

Sonia Ghilas is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute, with experience in leading projects on immunity against gastro-intestinal cancer and mentoring students. Prior to this, Sonia worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Melbourne and as a PHD student at CIML, where Sonia conducted projects on immunity against infections. Sonia also received PhD training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, specializing in multiphoton intravital microscopy in mice. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Aix-Marseille University.
