As Senior Designer, Growth, you will work directly with our Creative Studio Manager and extended Marketing team to disrupt a $30 billion industry. You love collaborating with a team and using creativity and data to develop insight led campaigns. Your creative and design expertise will help the team achieve its mission to get Ollie into the bowls of pets everywhere. 

This role will report to our Creative Studio Manager and is based remotely in the US.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop bold, compelling and breakthrough creative for our digital marketing channels that drive customer acquisition
  • Support ongoing performance marketing channel needs by concepting creative, proactively seeking out performance results and quickly pivoting to improve performance
  • Work cross functionally with all channel managers to translate their learning and goals into compelling, on brand creative. Think of outside of the box ideas that will engage the consumer.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for campaigns, ensuring they are data driven and aligned with business objectives.
  • Be a strategic partner who can conceptualize and communicate ideas visually. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative strategies for brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Oversee all freelance and outside agency work to make sure it fits within our brand guidelines
  • Support the development and production process for packaging and print materials.
  • Partner with Product team to ensure consistency between organic and performance channels, landing pages and website
  • Support Ollie’s business through recurring channel needs, such as promotional and lifecycle emails and promotional banners
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with growth marketing strategies and best practices within the ecommerce space.
  • Partner with various project owners on the marketing team to Implement creative testing methodologies to optimize design and improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve and evolve creative content.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep our creative approach fresh and relevant.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Ollie’s brand voice, visual identity, and brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all channels.

Who You Are:

  • BA in graphic design or related area
  • Organized with the ability to manage numerous projects, tight deadlines, revisions or shifts in direction effectively
  • Able to translate business goals into innovative, meaningful, and differentiated brand assets
  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • A collaborator and self-starter with experience managing one or multiple direct reports.
  • Ability to operate at a fast pace, with no ego
  • Experience concepting and designing campaigns across all digital marketing channels
  • Experience designing for ecommerce and direct to consumer brands, with a deep understanding of best practices within the marketing and ecommerce space.
  • Experience with packaging and print
  • Demonstrated experience in growth marketing and utilizing data driven insights to inform creative decision making.
  • Skilled in creative testing to refine and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Refined design sensibility, aware of current design trends to continue to elevate Ollie’s perspective to remain relevant
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe CS, video editing software, organizing files and utilizing metadata processes within DAM systems
