James Parkington

James Parkington started their work experience as a marketing intern at dentsu international in January 2013. James worked as an associate in SEM for one year and then became a senior associate, followed by a lead in SEM. James became a manager in analytics in June 2016, and later assumed the role of interim VP in analytics from March 2018 to June 2018. James then became a senior director in analytics from May 2017 to December 2018. James joined ButcherBox in January 2019 as a lead analytics engineer and worked in that position until June 2021. James was then promoted to become the senior manager in analytics enablement and left the company in December 2022. James started working at Ollie in June 2023 as a tech lead in data platform.

James Parkington completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College in 2012. In 2023 and 2024, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Northeastern University. James also obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Unconscious Bias, Product Management First Steps, Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization, Apache PySpark by Example, InVision Essential Training: Design System Manager, Managing Up, Managing Up, Down, and Across the Organization, and Power BI Data Methods.
