Charlie Bethune

Principal Project Manager at OLM Systems

Charlie Bethune is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and consultancy within the social care sector. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Patient Safety Commissioner for Scotland Bill Advisory Group since June 2022 and as the Founder of First do no Harm (Valproate) Scotland since June 2020, Charlie advocates for the full implementation of key recommendations to improve patient safety. Charlie has held roles such as Principal Project Manager and Head of Product Consultancy at OLM Systems since 2002, leading teams to deliver transformative services. Additionally, Charlie has been the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Impact Giving (UK) Trust since 2008, and has previously contributed to various organizations and projects, including serving as Service Development Project Manager at OLM and Configuration Manager for the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. Charlie's educational background includes a BSc in Physics, Maths, Geophysics, and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.
