David Bothorel

David Bothorel has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years. David began their career in 2000 as a Key Account Manager at Symrise, where they were responsible for developing worldwide sales. In 2006, they moved to BASF Beauty Care Solutions as a Key Account Manager, where they achieved sales growth at International Key Accounts and on German, Swiss, Italian, English, and Benelux markets. In 2011, they joined BASF Beauty Creations as an Industry Marketing Manager Actives and Europe Export Sales Manager, where they managed a multi-cultural sales team and set up a new European distribution network. In 2017, they began working at Cargill Beauty as a Sales Director EMEA and Distribution Manager EAME. Most recently, in 2023, they became a Business Development Manager Europe at OLVEA.

David Bothorel completed a Postgraduate degree after Master in Cosmetic Science from the University of Pharmacy in Nantes, France in 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Chemistry from the University of Science in Rennes, France in 1993, with a field of study in Organic Chemistry.
