James Hughes

James Hughes has extensive work experience in the technology industry. James started their career at National Semiconductor as a Staff Engineer in 1989. James then worked at Silicon Connections as a Member of Technical Staff from 1990 to 1992. From 1992 to 2004, they worked at Motorola, where they held the position of Principal Engineer. In 2004, they joined Freescale Semiconductor as a Principal, focusing on 3G and 4G systems, as well as IC design and development. In 2004, they also joined M3X Media as the VP of Technology, a role they held until 2010. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Sonavation Inc. as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. In 2013, they joined ST Software as a Senior Consultant, and in 2015, they became the Senior Director of Engineering at Olympusat Telecom.

James Hughes received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance & International Business at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, attending from 2002 to 2004.
