Whitfield Fowler

Whitfield Fowler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Whitfield is currently serving as the Senior Director of Operational Strategy at Olyns Recycling, where they work in Operations to facilitate the company's rapid growth and positive impact. Prior to this, Fowler held positions at Hillman Solutions, where they served as the Director of Sharpening Services and Resharp Systems Operations Director. Whitfield also worked at Resharp as part of the Operations, Engineering, and Special Projects team. Before joining Hillman Solutions and Resharp, Fowler was the Head of Engineering at Smitten Ice Cream. Whitfield also served as the Director of Engineering and later as the Engineering Manager at Driptech. Fowler has experience in academia as a Visiting Lecturer at Keio University and as a Research & Teaching Assistant at the Manufacturing Modeling Lab of Stanford University. In addition, Fowler has worked at SunPower Corp as an FMEA Facilitator and at Bloom Energy as a Product Development Intern. Leading up to their current position, Fowler worked as an Engineer at Velkess.

Whitfield Fowler's education history begins with their high school education at St. Paul Academy, from 1991 to 1995. After completing high school, they attended St. Olaf College from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Following this, they pursued further education at Stanford University, starting in 2003 and ending in 2005, to earn a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Design. Finally, they continued their studies at Stanford University from 2005 to 2009, completing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design.
