Matthew Bannister

Matthew Bannister has a wealth of experience in sales and leadership roles in the software industry. Matthew is currently the VP Northern Europe at Omada, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the VP UKI at Flexera from January 2021 to December 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Matthew worked at Micro Focus, where they held two roles: Head of UK Headquartered Strategic Accounts from November 2019 to January 2021, and Head of Application Delivery Management UKI from January 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining Micro Focus, Matthew was the VP UKI Nordics and MESA at Panaya from February 2016 to January 2018. Matthew also served as the Client Sales Manager - Capital Markets at SAS from May 2014 to February 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Sales Director - Financial Services at Oracle Corporation from September 2012 to September 2013.

Matthew's earlier career includes roles such as Global Account Director at CA Technologies from September 2009 to September 2012, Sales Manager, EMEA Global Accounts at BMC Software from April 2008 to September 2009, and Global Account Executive at BMC Software from April 2006 to March 2008. Matthew also worked as an Account Manager at BMC Software from September 2000 to March 2006.

Before joining BMC Software, Matthew started their career at Diversified Software as an Account Executive from February 2000 to September 2000. Prior to that, they were the Sales Manager at Interface Europe Ltd from March 1994 to January 2000.

Matthew Bannister began their education journey by enrolling at De Montfort University from 1985 to 1987. During this period, they pursued a Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance. Following this, from 1987 to 1988, Matthew attended the University of the West of England where they obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Marketing.
