Søren Grubov

Søren Grubov has extensive experience in engineering and testing roles in the software industry. Søren is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Omada since September 2022. Prior to that, they had a role as the VP Engineering Platform at SimCorp from December 2021 to September 2022, where they were responsible for delivering an engineering platform for SimCorp's product development. Søren also served as a Test Director at SimCorp, leading a transformation from waterfall to agile testing strategy from an overarching perspective.

Before SimCorp, Søren worked at Microsoft, where they held various roles, including Senior Software Development Engineer, Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, and Test Lead. Søren was involved in designing and implementing test frameworks and infrastructure for Dynamics NAV, driving the adoption of testability improvements in NAV, and introducing Model Based Test in NAV. Søren also played a key role in redesigning and improving the build and test infrastructure for Microsoft's AX platform.

Søren's work experience demonstrates their expertise in engineering leadership, test strategy, and driving improvements in testing processes and infrastructure within software development organizations. Søren has a track record of delivering high-quality releases and successfully leading transformational projects in both waterfall and agile environments.

Søren Grubov obtained a Master's Degree in the Department of Informatics and Mathematics Modelling from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Søren pursued their studies from 2000 to 2006.
