Ajaykummar J has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent role was as the Head of Procurement at Oman Cables Industry (SAOG) starting in January 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Manager at Datacraft India Limited from 2001 to 2006. From 2000 to 2002, they served as the Vice President - Logistics at Aksh Optifibe Limited in Rajasthan, India. Ajaykummar also worked as AGM - Commercial at Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd. from 1997 to 2001 and Deputy Manager - Materials at Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd from 1995 to 1998. Ajaykummar began their career as a Sr. Engineer (Materials) at Bharat Electronics in 1986, where they worked for almost a decade.
Ajaykummar J attended St. Aloysius High School from 1974 to 1979, where they earned their SSLC degree with a focus on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. After completing high school, they went on to study at TKM College of Engineering from 1981 to 1986. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree specializing in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
