Sarhan Said Al habsi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as an Assistant Manager at McDonalds in 2006, where they were responsible for managing day-to-day business activities, dealing with customers and employees, and monitoring profit and loss accounts. In 2012, they joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as a Payroll and Admin Manager, leading a team and overseeing payroll calculations for over 1000 employees. They also served as a member of the CSR Committee. From 2012 to 2015, Sarhan worked at Oman LNG L.L.C. as an HR Management Trainee, gaining hands-on experience in various HR functions. They then moved on to become an HR Business Partner, representing HR within assigned businesses and integrating HR activities with business strategy. In 2016, Sarhan rejoined Oman LNG L.L.C. as a Snr. HR Systems Officer, updating and maintaining ERP and HRMS modules with minimum human intervention. Their current role at Oman LNG L.L.C. is Lead, Talent Development, starting in 2022.
Sarhan Said Al habsi attended the University of Birmingham from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Business Enterprise with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Advanced CIPD (level 7) from CIPD in 2012, First Aid at Work from ATS Training in January 2008, and Access to Higher Education from South Birmingham College. Moreover, they also received certifications in Food Hygiene and Safety from City and Guilds, as well as an HND from Birmingham City University.
