Julia Sampson

Julia Sampson has a diverse background in the field of toxicology and safety pharmacology. Julia most recently worked at OMass Therapeutics as the VP of Nonclinical. Prior to that, they held roles at KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior Director and Group Head of Nonclinical Safety, and at AstraZeneca as a Toxicology Project Leader. Julia also gained experience as a Director of Toxicology at Shire Pharmaceuticals and an Associate Director of Toxicology at Prosidion (OSI Pharmaceuticals). Earlier in their career, they served as a Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology Manager at GW Pharmaceuticals, a Pre-clinical Scientist at Oxford Natural Products, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pharmacy Department of King's College London and UMDS-Guy's Hospital. Overall, Julia has a strong track record in the pharmaceutical industry and a wealth of expertise in toxicology and safety pharmacology.

Julia Sampson completed their BSc.(Hons) in Applied Biological Sciences at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1988 to 1991. Julia then pursued a Ph.D in Pharmacology/Pharmacognosy at The London School of Pharmacy from 1991 to 1994.
