Danny Sabana

Danny Sabana has a diverse work experience in software engineering and design. Danny is currently working at Omaze as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, they also founded their own company, Andean Digital Solutions. Prior to that, Danny worked at CoreLogic as a Senior Professional Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, Danny worked at Kapsch TrafficCom North America as a Software Engineer. During this time, they specialized in implementing communication protocols between traffic control devices and provided documentation for new developments. Danny also supported existing projects, conducted QA testing, and integrated projects with customer systems.

In 2014, Danny worked as a Freelance Application Developer, where they developed a payroll program for small businesses using Core Java, SQLite, GIT, and Maven. Danny also completed an online course on Hadoop and MapReduce at Udacity during the same year.

At UC Berkeley - Steel Bridge Team from 2011 to 2012, Danny served as the Lead Structural Designer. Danny developed a unique construction mechanism for a bridge that allowed it to be assembled without any tools while maintaining its structural integrity, resulting in a first-place win among 70 top universities in the nation.

Danny Sabana has a strong educational background in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the same field at the University of California, Berkeley. Before pursuing their higher education, Danny obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Mathematics from Oxnard College in the years 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Danny holds a certification as an Engineer-in-Training, which they obtained in May 2011 from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) institution.
