Petronella Sehlola has over 15 years of experience in the ICT field. From 2005 to 2015, they worked at the Department of Health as a Web Developer. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at the Department of Transport as an Assistant Director of Information System and Business Analyst. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at GPAA (Government Pensions Administration Agency) as a Deputy Director of Business Analyst. From 2013 to 2014 they worked at the ECIC as a Senior Business Analyst. From 2014 to 2015 they worked at the National Credit Regulator as an ICT Business/System Analyst. Lastly, from 2015 to present, they have been working at FAIS Ombud as an ICT Manager. In this role, they are responsible for IT operations and application management, programme and project management, IT governance, IT security, risk and continuity management, and service management and administration.
Petronella Sehlola obtained their Matric Certificate from Orhoveani High School in 1994-1998, followed by a National Diploma in IT from Tshwane University of Technology in 1999-2003. Petronella then went on to obtain a B-Tech in IT from Tshwane University of Technology in 2005-2006. Finally, they earned their Masters Degree in Business Information System from Tshwane University in 2010-2011, with a focus on Business Application and Analysis, Project Management, Information System, and Enterprise Architecture.
