Eric Anderson has over 40 years of work experience. Eric began their career in 1979 as a Student Administrator at St. Olaf College, where they provided Unix system support and did some Unix development work. In 1983, they moved to Tektronix as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Unix operating system development, C, assembly, device drivers and other kernel systems, and shared memory support. Eric was also a Project Manager for the Unix kernel development team. In 1990, they moved to Mentor Graphics Corp. as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2002, they joined Xerox Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were an embedded operating systems specialist, porting OS and boot code to new hardware, and developing hardware specific device drivers. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as an IT Consultant and Contract Software Developer for Lockheed Martin through Aerotek. In 2017, they moved to Leidos as a Software Engineer, and in 2020, they transitioned to full time employee at \u014cmcare as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, working on embedded software for the omcare device.

Eric Anderson began their educational career in 1977 at Penn State University, although they did not obtain a degree. Eric then attended St. Olaf College from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained a BA in Math/Computer Science. Finally, they attended Oregon Health & Science University from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificate in Management in Science and Technology.
