Saurabh started their career at Aditya Birla Group in 2007 as AGM - Human Resources, where they handled projects on new initiatives, compensation framework, talent acquisition, and sales HR. Saurabh then served as Vice President & Head of Human Resources at Beroe Inc, where they led the global HR function and was responsible for setting up world-class HR practices. Saurabh achieved significant growth in headcount and implemented various HR strategies. Subsequently, they joined Snapdeal as Senior Vice President & Head of Human Resources, leading the HR function and driving organizational growth through best-in-class practices. Saurabh also served as a Board & Global Council Member at Dasra, contributing to India's strategic philanthropy movement. Currently, Saurabh is Vice President - Human Capital at Omidyar Network India, where they collaborate with entrepreneurs in different sectors to tackle India's toughest challenges. In addition, they are an Angel Investor in companies like RNIT Solutions & Services Limited, Jellybean, Thriving Springs Inc, Klaar, and True Elements.
Saurabh Nigam holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in PM&IR from XLRI Jamshedpur, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications, including Certified OKR Practitioner (C-OKRP) Level 2, Certified Crucial Conversations Trainer, Birkman Signature Certification, Cardinal Leadership Program, SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SCP), Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification.
