Matthew Cox

Matthew Cox has been working in the data science field since 2006. Matthew began their career as a Middle School Math Teacher and High School Mathematics Teacher at Todd County School District from 2006 to 2007. Matthew then moved to Teach For America, where they held the roles of Director of Data Management, Manager, Instructional Data Systems, and Director, Data Analytics and Reporting from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Drip, where they held the roles of Business Intelligence Analyst, Associate Data Scientist, and Senior Data Scientist. In 2022, they began working at both Omnia Fishing and Lolo Health as a Data Scientist. While at Drip, they transitioned ETL processes to Apache Airflow hosted on Kubernetes, which made data available to the company 6+ hours sooner, and developed a Bayesian algorithm for ranking the order of emails sent which enabled them to onboard a large customer in 10% of the industry standard time.
