Tom Parker-Shemilt

Tom Parker-Shemilt is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Omnipresent, Tom has a rich history in various roles, including Staff Software Engineer at doxy.me and Staff Software Engineer at Babylon, focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Prior positions include Senior Developer at Oliver Wyman and LShift, where Tom led teams and contributed to internal deployment platforms and various development projects. With foundational knowledge in web development from earlier roles at Spotlight and MBD Deltacom, Tom holds a PhD in Wireless Sensor Networks and has completed multiple degrees from Delft University of Technology and the University of Bristol.
