Kim P.

Kim P. has over 8 years of work experience. Kim started their career in 2012 as a Resident Assistant at New York University. Kim then became the Chair (former President) of Tech@NYU, a multi-disciplined, cross-university executive board of 20+ students. In 2013, Kim P. joined Dorm Room Fund as a Founding Partner - NYC, leading a $500,000 student-run investment fund, backed by First Round Capital. Kim also held the role of Account Management & Operations Associate at HowAboutWe. In 2014, Kim P. was Head of Platform at Frontline Ventures, where they built an internal platform of tools, resources, and community to accelerate founders of 30+ portfolio companies across Europe. In 2015, they founded a European VC Platform, building a community of platform and talent leaders in European tech/VC to share best practices and learnings. In 2016, Kim P. became a Member of the Dublin hub of Sandbox, a global community of exceptional, passionate pioneers. In 2018, they held the role of Platform and Marketing Consultant at Made of the Internet, advising and consulting forward-thinking venture funds. Kim also became Platform Builder-in-Residence at Backstage Capital, developing and executing on platform strategy for portfolio of 100+ early-stage startups distributed throughout the US. In 2019, Kim P. co-founded Omsom, a new CPG brand bringing proud, loud Asian flavors into American homes.
