Karl Berghofer

Karl Berghofer is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Head of Exploration Development and Production at OMV since September 2018. Prior experience includes leadership roles at OMV Pakistan as General Manager and Head of Exploration, Development and Production, overseeing subsurface operations and managing significant production from brown gas fields. With a robust background in well engineering and drilling management at OMV and RWE, Karl has successfully executed complex drilling operations in challenging environments, consistently achieving safety and budgetary goals. A graduate of the Mining University Leoben with a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Karl possesses extensive expertise in drilling operations, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.
