Prof. Marek Kowalkiewicz

Prof. Marek Kowalkiewicz serves as Professor and Chair in Digital Economy at Queensland University of Technology, where Prof. is also the Founding Director of the Centre for the Digital Economy and leads the research theme on Embracing the Digital Age. Additional roles include membership on the Ministerial ICT Advisory Council for the Queensland Government, an ODW1 Fellowship with On Deck, advisory board membership at the Queensland AI Hub, and board membership at the State Library of Queensland. Prof. Kowalkiewicz holds an AI Professional Program degree from Stanford University and has earned a PhD in Data and Knowledge Engineering from The University of Queensland.
