Smita Naravane

Smita Naravane CPA has extensive experience in accounting and finance roles. Smita currently works as a GL Accounting Manager at ON24. Prior to this, they worked at Mosaic, where they served as a Corporate Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. In these positions, they were responsible for various tasks such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and overseeing the work of contractors.

Before Mosaic, Smita worked as a Senior International Accountant at Access Information Management, where they contributed to month-end closes, financial reporting, and special projects. Smita also held the role of Senior Accountant at Steelwedge Software Inc., where they performed financial statement analyses and assisted with the month-end close process.

Smita'searlier experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at Steelwedge Software Inc. and Accel North America, where they managed various accounting and finance functions. Smita also worked as an Internal Accountant at Raj Abhyanker, LLP, where they ensured the accuracy of accounting data and assisted with auditing and special projects.

Smita began their career with an internship at Oman International Bank. Smita has a strong background in journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll review and approval, and financial reporting.

Smita Naravane CPA holds a CPA degree in Accounting from the California Board of Accountancy. Smita also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in Finance from the Vishwakarma Institute of Management. Additionally, they have a certification in Introduction to Finance from Coursera, which they obtained in July 2012.
