Avani Khadilkar

Avani Khadilkar has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked as a Data Analyst at Onc.AI starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Bioinformatics Systems Analyst at the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute from April 2021 to March 2023, where they were involved in workflow development, user support, and data wrangling. Avani also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from August 2017 to December 2020, teaching and managing students in several courses and grading assignments. Avani also worked as a Research Project Trainee at Savitribai Phule Pune University for three months in 2016, and as an Industrial Project Trainee at Persistent Systems from June 2015 to August 2015, where they handled data analysis, integration testing, and design creation.

Avani Khadilkar completed their Master's Degree in Bioinformatics at Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from the same university in 2013. Currently, Avani is pursuing a further Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, with a minor in Statistics, at Iowa State University. Avani'sexpected graduation date is in 2021.
