Matt Rasamoto

Creative Director at OnChain Studios

Matt Rasamoto is the current Creative Director at OnChain Studios. Prior to their current position, they held the title of Director of Content Development and Production at Strategic Partners, Inc. from June 2019 to January 2020. In this role, Matt was responsible for production and business vendor relations, using analytics to track video and podcast performance, creating production pipelines, building and equipping video and podcast production studios, managing third party teams, and producing content for internal, social, and broadcast channels. Matt also spearheaded the development of a niche network aimed at the medical community by conducting documentary research, writing and revising scripts, and road mapping the development process. Under Matt's leadership, the SCRUBS Magazine podcast was created and quickly became a weekly favorite among nursing magazines. Additionally, they increased social media interactions by 100% and produced product videos that led to a 3% increase in B2C sales.

From June 2017 to February 2018, Matt served as Co-Founder and Creative Lead at Shadow Estate. In this role, they were responsible for all creative aspects of the company, from ideation and development to execution and delivery.

From January 2015 to June 2017, Matt Rasamoto was the Director of Content Innovation at AT&T. In this role, they were responsible for driving content strategy and execution across all channels, including social, digital, linear, and emerging platforms. Matt also oversaw the development of new content formats and worked with internal and external partners to create innovative content experiences for consumers.

From November 2011 to December 2015, Matt Rasamoto served as Director of Video & Immersion Studio at DIRECTV. In this role, they managed a team of producers, editors, and videographers who created original video content for DIRECTV's website and social media channels. Matt also oversaw the development of new video formats and worked with internal and external partners to create immersive video experiences for DIRECTV customers.

Matt Rasamoto's educational career began with a focus on Fine/Studio Arts, General at the University of Central Arkansas. Matt then transferred to Santa Monica College to study Communication and Media Studies. After completing their undergraduate studies, Rasamoto attended Ozark Christian College to obtain a degree in Psychology and Theology. Matt later obtained a Graphic Design certification from Platt College. In addition to their formal education, Rasamoto has also obtained certifications from Udemy (in Intelligence Analyst), Scrum.org (in PSM I), and Google (in Google Analytics Certification).
