Pan Zheng has worked in a variety of roles since 1987. Pan began their career as a Resident at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing. Pan then moved to New York University, where they worked as a Research Assistant Professor and a Resident in Pathology from 1994 to 1998. Pan then moved to The Ohio State University, where they worked as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor from 1998 to 2006. In 2006, they moved to the University of Michigan, where they worked as a Professor until 2013. Pan then moved to Children's National Health System, where they worked as the McKnew Endowed Professor at Children's Research Institute from 2013 to 2018. Currently, Pan Zheng is the Chief Medical Officer at OncoC4, Inc., a position they have held since 2020.
Pan Zheng received their MD from Peking Union Medical College from 1979 to 1987 and then went on to earn a PhD in MCDB from Yale University from 1989 to 1994.
