Katharina Slätis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Their most recent position, starting in 2023, is as the Head of Global Medical Affairs at Oncopeptides AB (publ). Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Managing Director of PS Source AB, where they worked as a Senior Medical Affairs Consultant, providing support to pharma companies with medical affairs leadership and strategic roles.

Before that, Slätis worked at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) as the Global Medical Director from 2021 to 2023. Their responsibilities included representing the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) in global asset and regulatory strategy teams, developing medical affairs strategies, and managing KOL relationships.

From 2018 to 2021, Slätis was the Nordic Medical Director at Kyowa Kirin International plc. In this role, they managed and led a team of 6 MSLs, implemented global medical affairs strategies for the Nordic countries, and collaborated with Nordic colleagues to drive key insights and life cycle strategies.

Earlier in their career, Slätis worked at Vifor Pharma as the Global Sr Medical Manager, where they developed global governance for the Field Medical organization and implemented a global MSL community and medical resource repository platform. Katharina also provided medical and soft skill training for the Field Medical team.

Additional experiences include working as a Medical Science Liaison at Vifor Pharma, a Product Manager and Integrated Healthcare Specialist at Bayer AB, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University. Slätis also completed their PhD at Karolinska Institutet and worked at AstraZeneca in various roles, including Key Account Manager, Outsourcing Manager, and Laboratory Engineer.

Katharina Slätis obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Stockholm University between the years 1993 and 1997. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine at Karolinska Institutet, completing it from 2005 to 2008.
