Keming (Alex) Gao

Keming Gao is a software engineer at ONE since July 2022, previously serving as a graduate student instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, where curriculum was developed and taught for courses connecting data science with various disciplines. Professional experience includes roles as a data science consultant at Boston Consulting Group, research engineer in full stack web development and data pipelines at Global Policy Lab, and data science fellow working with the U.S. Census Bureau. Additional experience encompasses a deep learning engineering internship focused on generative models at the Maui High Performance Computing Center and research internships addressing sustainable transportation and public health. Keming Gao has also worked in consulting and data science roles across various organizations, including Clarity Movement Co. and PlayStation. Keming Gao holds a Master's degree from the UC Berkeley School of Information and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics with honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
