Timothy Frank has had a long and varied career in the U.S. Air Force. In 2004, they began as the Chief of Design and Construction for the 96th Civil Engineer Group. Timothy then moved on to the 23d Space Operations Squadron in 2007, where they served as Support Officer. In 2009, they became the Chief, Programs Flight for the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron. In 2010, they joined the U.S. Air Force Academy as an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. In 2016, they were appointed as the Base Civil Engineer for the 612th Air Base Squadron. In 2017, they moved to Headquarters Air Force, where they served as the Strategy and Future Concepts Program Manager. In 2018, they became the Deputy Engineer & Chief of Construction Effects for the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve. In 2019, they were appointed Commander of the 432d Support Squadron. Since 2021, they have been an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the United States Air Force Academy. Timothy has also Co-Founded One Concern, Inc. in 2015.
Timothy Frank has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, which they obtained in 2017. Timothy also has a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained in 2003. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained in 2002. Timothy also has four certifications: a Top Secret security clearance/SCI from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) obtained in 2019, a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2010, a LEED AP from the U.S. Green Building Council obtained in 2008, and a Professional Engineer from the New Hampshire Board of Professional Engineers obtained in 2007.
