Yusef Watson

Yusef Watson possesses extensive experience in youth engagement and program coordination, currently serving as a Membership Representative at Nielsen since August 2017 and as a Senior Program Coordinator at One Million Degrees since November 2016. In the role at One Million Degrees and previously as a Youth Advisor at Chicago Area Project, Yusef successfully facilitated training for large groups, developed marketing plans, and managed youth programs that resulted in increased participation. Notable achievements include preparing youth for testimonies before legislative committees and organizing events that celebrate youth in foster care. Yusef's career also includes positions such as Field Training Officer at Apex3 Security and an Americorps Volunteer with City Year, where impactful community engagement and student performance improvements were achieved. Yusef holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of Connecticut.
